Ted Heath Collection of Airship Illustrations

Ted Heath worked at the RAE for many years, mostly in the Guided Weapons Department at Bramshot, before changing his occupation to become an illustrator working at local army sites. However, his real passion was airships and he made a study of all airships, making notes and painting a coloured illustration of each of them, culminating in well over 1500 illustrations.

His collection was recently donated to FAST where they can be seen in full in the Art Collection.
