Farnborough Air Sciences Museum

Technical Drawings on Paper

The majority of the drawings in the archive are in paper form. These include Architectural drawings dating back to the early days of the Balloon School and Factory, the major research facilities, such as the Wind Tunnels, Seaplane Tank, Airfield Facilities, Pyestock test facilities etc.

Other areas show the design of aircraft, aircraft systems and detail. The archive also holds a number of Air Ministry Drawings from WW2 still on their original linen sheets.
