Flying Helmets

Farnborough was strongly involved in the specifications for future Flying Helmets and in the component design, in conjunction with RAF IAM who covered the medical and physiological aspects and testing, along with EP Dept. and Human Engineering.

Both experimental helmets, such as those used for high-altitude experimental flying and those which were developed into production for RAF Squadron use, are part of the FAST collection.
